Organic Harvest Organic Lips Review

Another new entrant in the basket of lip balms. This new, cute, super effective lip          balm is one for a sure grab!

Product: Organic Harvest-Organic Lips
Variants: Strawberry,Green Apple and Shea Butter
Price: 149 INR
Packaging: Unique in it's own way,the lip balm has got the cutest colours and case. The case of the product is an adorable, spherical with a vibrant pink (green and yellow are the other two colours) and is just so easy to handle.

The lip balm itself is there inside without any any need to swivel it up or anything. You can slip it in anywhere easily and carry it.The balm too is in a ball shape and one swipe is enough to cover both lips.

Pigmentation:The product is completely colourless and adds a soft, matte like natural tint to the lips, making them look soft and moisturised. Also this matte like appearance that it gives is very impressive for you can use it as a base for your matte lipstick to lock in moisture and you dont need to even worry about your matte becoming glossy because of a glossy lip base.

Performance: If there is one lip balm that actually focusses on it's work rather providing gloss and colour,I can sware by this product.Though the fragrance of the balm is very light but the effectiveness is wonderful. From the very first time that I used it,my lips have been just so soft and palpable. It is like the best I have used till date.Unlike other lip balms post the use of which the lips tend to get chapped at corners, this product is one that just sticks to it's work and 24 hours, you have smooth, baby like, palpable lips.

Conclusion:As a conclusion,I highly recommend everyone to have this product. It is simply amazing.

Would I buy it again?
Yes.Yes.Yes!!!

Outfit of the Day

Winters are rolling and a day out with some sunshine calls for the right combination of clothes or it might leave you either sweaty or begging for warmth!
So my today's outfit was for the fluctuating sunlight in the faded fog of the city.

Black sweater paired with blue jeans and grey shrug.Nude kitten heels to compliment the already subtle outfit!

Review-Lakme Eyeconic,Maybelline Colossal and L'oreal Kajal Magique

The range of dailywear Kajals available in the market has sure spoilt us for choice and to add to it is the confusion of which to pick! It's like we stand at the counter and be like "Mirror Mirror on the wall, tell me which one is the best of all?"
So I got my hands on all three popular launches of Kajals in India that is Lakme Eyeconic Kajal,Maybelline Colossal Kajal and L'oreal Kajal Magique.
Packaging:The packaging of all three is quite identical. Each of them comes in a swivelling pencil container and is very easy to handle.
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal

L'oreal Kajal Magique

Maybelline Colossal Kajal
The Kajal comes out easily with a twist and the good part about the twist is that it can be rewinded and just in case, out of excitement, you pushed out way too much kajal, you can very swiftly show it the way back! Also there is no hassle regarding sharpening the tip or anything because the kajal itself is in a very thin stick form. And yes, this is valid for all three of them.
Price: Though the packaging is identical, the same cannot be said for the price because of course the brand speaks! And so...
Lakme Eyeconic- 200 INR
Maybelline Colossal- 175 INR
L'oreal Kajal Magique- 275 INR
Pigmentation:Lakme never fails to prove its worth and yet again,in the race of being pigmented, eyeconic wins! Here is a picture of the swatch of the three.
Though the Kajal magique glides on the smoothest of it all and has the most creamiest texture, the same works against the retention of the Kajal for long hours. The longest stay power is though commendable of Colossal.
The Waterline Test:

Most of the kajals have  a hard time staying on my waterline and tend to fade.Of all the three above in the picture, the one that decided to stick long and dark enough was the Eyeconic Kajal. The kajal magique just wont stay on and rather smudge in a matter of 30-40 minutes because of its creamy texture while the colossal one is a bit lighter and fades.
Verdict:Of the three that I reviewed, the one or rather the two I would buy again and again are Lakme Eyeconic because of its intensity and Colossal because of its stay on power.
